What items do you have for rent?
We do rent: Motorized Boats
We do NOT rent: Jet Skis, Tubes, Skis, Ropes, Wake Boards, Fishing Gear, Kayaks, Canoes, Paddle Boards
What is included with your rental boats?
Our rental boats do include: Life Vests, Maps, Medical Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Emergency Throw, Anchor & Rope
Our rental boats do NOT include: Tubes, Skis, Wakeboards, Ropes, Grills, Coolers, Fishing Gear, Depth Finders, Fish Finders.
What is required to rent a boat?
In order to rent a boat with us, you must be over the age of 25 as the renter or driver and have a valid driver's license (a boater's license is not required).
Do I have to wear a life jacket?
By law, children 12 years old or younger must wear a life jacket at all times.
What about children's life vests?
All children 12 and under must wear a life vest at all times the boat is in power. We have a limited selection of children's life vests to lend out. We like to know in advance how many and what sizes you will need. Infant life vests are for 30 pounds and under. Toddler sizes are from 30 to 50 pounds. Children's sizes are 50 to 90 pounds.
Do I need to put down a deposit?
No deposit is required above the price of the rental but please be aware that the full amount of the rental is due at the time of booking.
Do you allow fishing from your rental boats?
Yes, we do allow fishing from our rental boats.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, we do allow pets aboard but please be aware that you are responsible for any messes your pets make including excessive pet hair.
FAQ - Boat Storage
Do you offer temporary or guest storage?
No. We have annual storage that starts from April 1st to March 31st of the following year. While we will prorate you if you start late in the year, we do not have short term options.
Do you store trailers at your marinas?
Yes, we do have the ability to store your trailer.
What are the advantages to dry storage?
Boats stored in enclosed dry storage are protected from the elements. Your boat stays cleaner and doesn’t have to deal with the effects of being in direct sunlight or in the water. Dry storage may extend the life of your boat and reduce maintenance costs.
How do I know that my boat is secure while on the dock?
Our property has cameras that run around the clock. We also implement our 2 key system where we keep one key on the property at all times and you keep one copy. You will use your copy of the boat to enjoy it and we use our copy to launch and store the boat. That was we can ensure that there is never a key left in your boat while at the docks.
Can you fish from the docks?
No
FAQ - General
Is there a fee for parking?
There is no fee for parking but please keep in mind that spaces are limited and certain parking areas are reserved for our rental and storage customers.
Do you have ethanol free gasoline at the marina?
Yes, we do offer non-ethanol marine grade fuel. The gas pumps are open 9 am to 5 pm every day. They are self-service, but you can pay cash at the ship store every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When it says select grade flip up the pump handle. All our gas is ethonal free, we want to ensure the longevity of not only our boats, but yours too.
What do you sell in your ship store?
We do sell: 10lb Ice, Oil, Drinks, Fuel, Maps, Tubes, and Ropes.
We do NOT sell: Snacks, Live Bait, Wake Boards, Skis, Coolers, Fishing Gear.
Do I need a fishing license and do you sell them?
A fishing license is required if you plan on fishing. We do not sell fishing licenses however you can obtain one at a local bait shop, Wal-Mart or you can purchase one directly from the DNR website online.
